Should I cancel my hotel reservation?

Yes. We would recommend you cancel your hotel reservations. You can do that by clicking here or calling the Marriott Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld hotel at +1 407-351-5555.

For reference, Marriott policy states the following:

For guests with existing reservations for any future arrival date who booked rooms into a Group block via a direct Marriott channel (e.g., or directly with the hotel), including reservations with pre-paid rates that are typically more restrictive, we will allow full changes or cancellation without a charge up to 24 hours prior to arrival,* as long as the change or cancellation is made by June 30, 2020. Please note that any changes to existing reservations will be subject to availability and any rate differences. Guests can cancel or change existing reservations regardless of whether the event itself has been cancelled.

When will speakers be notified as to information about a webinar opportunity?

All speakers are being notified now via email with a rough outline of the Learning Community description and objectives as well as contact information for any questions. Our hope is that they will continue to engage with FCC in our virtual Learning Community and make plans to submit speaker proposals for 2021! 


Sponsors and Exhibitors

What are my options for a refund or extension of my sponsorship or exhibitor fee?

First, thank you for your support of this year’s event, we are truly grateful for your patience as we worked through logistics around the board’s decision to cancel this year’s event. 

As to your current sponsorship or exhibitor booth you have three options. 


Option 1: Your sponsorship or exhibitor fee can be used to secure the same level of sponsorship or exhibitor spot as was agreed upon this year to support the FCC 2021 Annual Conference. We can also extend your sponsorship or exhibitor booth to another event this year including our annual Rally in Tally or Leadership Retreat.

Option 2: You can designate your sponsorship or exhibitor fee to our COVID-19 Recovery Fund which is being used to provide aid to foster families, independent living youth and the care of Florida’s children and youth following this unprecedented pandemic. 

Option 3: A full refund of your sponsorship or exhibitor fee. 



What about the 2020 Annual Awards?

Now more than ever we feel it is important to recognize the individuals who are going above and beyond to care for Florida’s children and families. Our planning committee is discussing ways in which we can do that and will have an announcement in the near future.
